The Mixolydian mode is the fifth mode of the major scale. This major scale differs from the other two (Ionian and Lydian) by its seventh minor (its characteristic note). It will therefore be used in a dominant seventh chord context, blues grids, and a Mixolydian grid. It can also be used on a major chord, in a dominant seventh context, or on a 7 suspended chord.
You'll find below the 5 different positions/shapes of the Gb Mixolydian Uke scale in Slack-key Tuning (gCEG), along with their ascending tab patterns.
